Programme
The workshop leader will visit your school and set up a pop-up theatre in your hall.
During the workshop the pupils meet a variety of colourful characters including the world famous archaeologist Trimbold & A Cave dweller.
The pupils will join in an archaeological dig, and explore the stone age, examining cave paintings and strange objects. They then meet Uggh the cave dweller: but what is he saying, who is able to communicate with him and unravel the past?
The children act out building Stonehenge, making fire, hunting wild beasts and being archaeologists.

Programme
The Workshop Leader will arrive at your school with a pop-up Greek theatre. Then after a short, fun, fact-filled performance, during which you will hear the story of Pandora’s box, meet a mysterious Greek fortune-teller, and if that’s not enough find out the rules of the Olympic games from Acanthus the Spartan.
The children even becoming ancient heroes and Gods themselves.

Take part in worshipping the greatest Pharaoh of all times; mummify one of your classmates, discover the secrets of Tutankhamun’s Tomb and re-create the events that led to its amazing discover.

The experienced actor will perform short scenes from the selected period; then, using drama, freeze-frame, and role-play the children will be encouraged to interact with the performer, and recreate some of the scenes. The Create History workshop produces work that lends itself to being used for assembly projects.

The experienced actor will arrive at your school with a pop-up Ancient Egyptian theatre.
During the course of the workshop, the pupils will get the chance to meet the world famous Egyptologist Trimbold. He talks about life in ancient times and mummifies one of the pupils and acts out the daily life of a priest.
Clarence Trimbold tells the story of the uncovering of Tutankhamen’s Tomb & the pupils get the chance to meet an Ancient Egyptian tomb robber.
It’s a none stop packed session, with the pupils acting out various roles and learning so much about Ancient Egyptian history.
Using drama, freeze-frame, and role-play the children will be encouraged to interact with the performer, and recreate some of the scenes.
