THE TUDORS - LIVING HISTORY WORKSHOP
A new family rules in England, and some of the most colourful monarchs
in History take the stage. Henry VIII himself, needs a little help
with his marriage(s), but be careful he has a bad temper. If you
dare, you might ask him a question. Will he answer? Will you keep
your head? Elizabeth I has been told that she must get married,
could you be the man of her dreams? What on earth is that, that
Sir Walter Raleigh has in his hand? Finally a performance of one
of Shakespeares great plays - in two minutes?
All these questions and more are answered in this fully interactive
workshop.

Programme
This two-hour workshop covers life in Tudor England. Have an Audience
with Henry VIII, Watch one of his wives losing her head, stand back
as your classmates are burned at the stake and be present at the
entrance of the new Queen Elizabeth.
This drama based workshop helps pupils to get an understanding
of living in Tudor England. The pupils will be encouraged, by
the two actors, to participate in acting scenes from history.
