THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS
This living history workshop starts with demonstrating how to make a simple costume,
then on to showing how a pharaoh is mummified. The greatest Pharaoh
of all then pays a visit and the priests are prepared for worship.
How important was the Nile to the ancient Egyptians? How did mummifying
start? Why the sudden interest in Tutankhamun in 1920? Who was he?
Who finally discovered the tomb? What did they find inside?
All these questions and more are answered in this fully interactive
workshop.
